They are having it early so they have one this calender year, it preserves the Consecutive status of the show, as the January date was snowed out this year they have moved it forward to December.

JohnQuinn Posted November 7, 2010 Author Report Posted November 7, 2010 I'll be putting ma request in for that day off when i get into work tomorrow. Been to most if not all of them since about 1992, i know they are expecting to be back in the community centre for next year, the revamp of it has run over schedule that is why its down at the masonic hall this year.

b.massey Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 This show must be wondering whats going on.. They missed 2009 for bad snow and its looking bleak at moment for Saturday
JohnQuinn Posted November 29, 2010 Author Report Posted November 29, 2010 Ye its no looking too promising the now Brian but i'll give my entries in for Wednesday and see how the weather turns out. Better having your entries in because it'll be a right bummer if fanciers don't put them in and it turns out to be fine on Saturday Think the snow will have given up by midweek so hopefully it'll be ok for travelling.

b.massey Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 Decision made tomorrow on whether show is going ahead
JohnQuinn Posted December 1, 2010 Author Report Posted December 1, 2010 Its no looking good Brian, hope they can re-arrange it later in the month if it gets called off.
b.massey Posted December 1, 2010 Report Posted December 1, 2010 Yeah was saying to Charlie there that mibi boxing day (Sunday) would work to try keep the consecutive side of the show running. If not back to January. Will see what decision the men decide. Am sure it looks off to me. Safety for the older generation of the sport is paramount. Am young and daft so would not phase me drivin through lol
