You can use another transfer form but you will have to FORGE his signature,would never do it myself but its up to you.

Dont have to forge anything, just get the guys permission to sign it on his behalf, download the transfer form from www.shu.co.uk fill it in, send it =sorted.

Guys allready said he doesnt want to hassle the owner,if hes got to ask him permission to sign a new one might just as well ask for a new transfer.I would still not sign it in the other guys name even if he gave his permission.

I would contact the SHU and report it as a stray when you get the fanciers details get in touch with him and explain the situation.

report as a stray if it is this years yb put number up i am sure one of the members will have a copy of s.h.u 2010 ring allocation then phone his club

im not trying to pinch your bird ian honest ,if i remember i put it on the lost and found section last year and williedoo got me the owners details im going back to the garden to check its ring

just checked way back on the lost and found page 34 when i first reported it but cant reply as its locked..just to cover my back haha

I believe SU transfers can be done on line by just using email addresses ??

I'm sure that's how I done one last year.

You can download a transfer form from the SHU website but it still has to be filled in by hand and sent to them.
