If it's just for work, and a bit of keep fit, don't even think of spending that sort of money. When you're looking at different 'types' of bike, have a look at what they call 'hybrids'. I think that's a good bet for you. Should be well covered at £200 - £300, anything more and it's a mixture of sales talk and the bike is too high spec. for your needs.

lenton1163 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 i borght a carrera vengance limited edition from halfords cost me £500 and it is cheap tap if i was you i would stay clear of them my mate has just bortght a scott voltage £1700 and its a cracking bike that is going to be my next investment
