good idea mate all looking good my wife works at wilkinsons i wonder why she didnt think of that idea?

they look very good,, must be very  easy to wash anyway or as you say, replace after use

My mate did a similar thing with empty crisp boxes from a pub, the ones with the hole in the front.

 

He then burns them when they've been used once.

I tried to use crisp boxes but I didn't feel they were very secure when stacked. These look just the ticket.

have just put some of these in the stock loft great job and they are bigger than they look the only thing i have dun different is i cut a hole in the narrow end.

only had one problem a cock bird went in the wrong box and the mayhem  cost  2 eggs that another pair had, but  that can happen anytime in any best box system

 

ive been cleaning them out with ease, i bought some spare boxes and have these prepared ready to swap over, then just hot spray the dirty boxes  and leave those prepared  for the next clean out.

 

wait til i post a few pics of the latest cheaper alternative idea i had, its a typical yorkshire mans short arms, deep pockets thinking

hi les, you can cut a fiver in half and make it ten pounds 8)

ive heard computer scanners are very good at turning A4 sheets of white paper in to a few £20 notes.................

 

obviously i havent tried it

I bought some of these yesterday - and I'm almost embarassed to say - I actually bought them for errr - storage boxes (evil)

 

Good value for money whatever you use them for - and your nest boxes are a great money saving idea oldguy

bet clean was difficult due to the raised bit in middle where moulded ????

Tried 6 in my converted shed and didnt even let them lay. They were rubbish   Waste of £12 - could of got a good sack of corn for that.
