thanks lads. I been tryin the lot. Even been tryin the immodium. Wee bit better the nite but still not good. The droppins are very wet but not stinkin and her wattles are dead greasy and dirty.

I don't think you are dealing with a run-of-the-mill illness here. Most of that loss of body may now be chronic dehydration and recovery salts / electrolytes at least are needed. No offence, Steven but this is a top-rate pigeon , very least the bird deserves is services of a good avian vet. Don't you have access to one?

Got my 2nd yin this afternoon. 2/2. Came straight up fechan high street wae a young hen hed found crackin aboot like hed just been let oot. Still got ETS and rubber on.

 

Glad the bird made it. Obviously still with bounce in him too.

IB.Dont know of vets doon here that would be of help. Glucose and harka-vit and fed wae a light seed. No a great fan of aggressive treatment but take on board your comments.Had her oot of her box this morn and she had a dip in the bath so maybe we are turning a corner.

Shes definately on the up m8, if she goes into a bath. Ill pigeons wont bathe, good luck with her.

Have been hand feedin the hen that was well in frae Bourges all week. Bodys been gan off her since she got back and now its gettin tae the critical stage. Looks like she will prob die frae the exersion.

 

Have you gave her a white Sesqui tablet?? Always known that to sort out weight loss. If it disnae maybe she would be better away

Aye white sesqui John is yin of ma old boys favs. Basically treated her for gan light at the start and then went frae there.

aye your right there frank i put droppings test into him on 2 occasions and had to end up phoning him for the results after 3 days of waiting
