According to this link Knareborough is 144 miles from me http://www.freemaptools.com/how-far-is-it-between.htm Even if they only manage 38mph for that last bit that still has them up here before 10pm assuming there is a bird from this area up with the leaders down there.

I reckon the Knaresborough doo is doing approx 1185 ypm, to equal that in Elphinstone you would need to be in at 9.39 pm. As I said, this is probably not the first pigeon so fingers crossed Jamie

I agree, would be interesting know the times from Bridlington and Scarborough area, they could be half an hour better off over there. 2139 would be a cracker up here, i'd be delighted with anything tonight.

I would have hoped by now we would have heard more than just the 2 birds, there must be more birds in Yorkshire at this time.

 

If this is a struggle for the Yorkshire lads then we are going to have a long wait up here
