Aye, if they are ready why not, just keep the older ones close enough to home for the younger ones to catch up. Personally i wouldn't train them this year at all if i were you, your just getting started and make no mistake you will lose some training them and i'm no sure you can afford to lose say 20/25% of what you have just now, JMO mate i know how keen you are to get them on the road but patience is your best friend just now

john your probaly right John as i only have 23 birds just now and 4 of them havent got rings and was told not to put them near a basket as theyre supposed to be right good doos.

The rest of them i will be racing next year so will tey not need trained in there year of birth or is that just some peoples opinion aswell

dont let your birds out at the same time each day, hawks look and watch a lot and get to know where their next meal is coming from, nowadays they dont have to hunt like they used to its all lade on a plate for them,

Black Rapeseed

Black Rapeseed provides bird keepers with a highly nutritious high energy oil seed. Rapeseed is generally offered in moderation to small seed-eating bird species such as budgies, parakeets, canaries and finches

Forgot to ask weres the best place to get that vaccine stuff enough to do 25 birds

Do you get the Homing World yet?

Theres usually a "Pigeon Pharmacy" advert/order form in it.used this the last while.dunno if its cheaper or dearer than anywhere else at the moment???but it usually comes up within a day or two

Think you can only buy it in 50 or a 100 doses but you can keep it in the fridge and the expiry dates are usually a year or two away from when you buy it.So you can use it for your youngsters next year etc.

Other than that used to order it through a local vet but they were hopeless
