frank-123 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Just had the ybs out for the first time since tuesday after keeping them in and sticking to a routine that suited feeding at the exact same time and measured amounts each burd The differance is unbelievable as soon as they saw me coming out the house they were all down like bullets and through the trap is was such a gd feeling having the control over them and not having them sit all over the buildings and they are all flying well I also noticed aswell after feeding that some are starting to show or trying to but they are fighting aswell is this normal just normal youngbird behaviour good to see your a bit happier with your birds
JohnQuinn Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 Good to see the optimism Geo, yes the fighting and squabbling is perfectly fine, they are sorting out the hierarchy within the loft, they will sort themselves out, but will STILL fight over just about anything. :D
Guest Davy Fleming Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Can anyone tell me the phone number of John Sharpe please
JohnQuinn Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 Sent you a PM Davy. if that doesn't work maybe the Coatbridge Sec can help. Wm Cummings 01236 433822

geordie1234 Posted July 11, 2010 Author Report Posted July 11, 2010 got mine out when i came home from work and glad a did it was the first time the 9 of them were all up together they were like dots in the sky higher than ever before they were up for 15-20 mins and straight as soon as they landed on the house roof a took them in for there feed im trying to get them not to even land on the house roof so everytime they do there flying and land do you think its best just get them in insted of sitting about then eventually theyll be flying a lot longer and bang straight in
geordie1234 Posted July 11, 2010 Author Report Posted July 11, 2010 or do you think its important for them to get time out the loft rather than just doing there flying then in
