JohnQuinn Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 what about the bird timed at 13 12 at newmains thats a good bird Heard a velocity of 1366 for it, also heard Colligan & Lumsden are doing 1374ypm!
eastcoaster Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 whats your distance.we fly 309.1282,we`re happy where ever we finnish
eastcoaster Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 I think what is confusing is the position of Bovington as it is further round than say Newbury we fly very similar distance in east lothian as i will at my new place in greengairs ! but a lot stiffer test for the doo`s in the west ,this race seams to be very even with good birds in all sections and think it will be closeWell Done to the winner ??????
jocky Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 we fly 309.1282,we`re happy where ever we finnish newmains is about 312-500
novo10 Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Heard a velocity of 1366 for it, also heard Colligan & Lumsden are doing 1374ypm! we wont beat the whitefords no where near it theyve a good one well done to the family
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 WHAT ABOUT THE DOO IN ADDROSSON AT 13 23 Yes Mark Findlay at that time must be doing a approx vel of 1376 which could take a bit beating. Could this be the first National winner into Ayrshire since the 70's ?????? Would be great for the area B)
Delboy Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I reckon the Ardrossan bird is doing 1372ypm approx Gareth, 322 miles 6 hours 53 min approx. Two fantastic pigeons into Ayrshire with Findlays and also Tom Smith of West Kilbride in at 13.32

eastcoaster Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 that is a great pigeon over there and deserves to win ! but 1376 wont beat steve lapinski`s and he is behind mel bell, and stop finding all these fast times because we are going down the sheet all the time
arch123 Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I reckon the Ardrossan bird is doing 1372ypm approx Gareth, 322 miles 6 hours 53 min approx. Two fantastic pigeons into Ayrshire with Findlays and also Tom Smith of West Kilbride in at 13.32 Tom Smith of West Kilbride is doing 1365.
