celtic Posted August 12, 2006 Author Report Posted August 12, 2006 Jimmy is that the results that we looked at the other day ? there is a lot that can be done to get the sport back to what it used to be....attract more people to it, maybe old fanciers that have packed in or youngsters that their family's have had doos and now don't ...get them interested again somehow !!, a lot of clubs would,nt have 250 quid in the pools nowadays never mind 15 years ago FACT . Now i know why you've got a bad back.. all that cash you,ve got piled up under your bed has done the damage ;D ;D

westburylofts Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 12 members sent 198 birds numbers down on start of season. ray
peterpau Posted August 12, 2006 Report Posted August 12, 2006 It aint just pigeons that is a dying sport. Ten years ago, I knew about ten local rugby clubs, that ran six teams, now none. Most struggle to run three.
