Guest Doostalker Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I have just been on to Linda Brooks at the SHU and she has told me that Robert McCubbin died last night. Robert is a well known Ayshire fancier, prominent in the show world. He will be sadly missed. I have no further details at the moiment but will keep you advised.

Guest Gareth Rankin Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Robert was the best conditioner of a pigeon ever to go into a show pen, when ever you judged a class of pigeons you could just about pick everyone of Robert's pigeons out from the rest. Second to none in his game he will be be sadly missed. :o :( RIP GARETH

Webmaster Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 This is a photo of Robert (on the left) and Stan Bonninton at the ayrshire North Road Show in 2004. Sadly they are both now no longer with us. Stan died earlier this year. Both were heavily involved in setting up the Dunoon Show.
