Hi Pigeon Pete,

Sorry mate, don't know any of the prices.  I was told by a London fancier at breakfast, the price the whole sale made.  I would imagine the word would of got round and someone from here will have details and will be put on here or some info in the BHW this week..

Hi Blackjack,

Don't know exactly what the sale made but a fancier went and told me he pulled out of the bidding on one particular pigeon at two and a half thousand pounds.  I understand it eventually went for five thousand pounds.

I also got told a foreign fancier had his sale stopped because in his opinion his birds wern't making enough money.  I must stress that this is only what I was told, I was not at any of the sales to witness any of what I have just told you.

Don't quote me on this but....................

'Rosie' in the mardon sale went for £14,000 and I think John Turner of rochdale may have bought it, I know he was at the sale to buy it so maybe, maybe not. :-/

Travelled up Friday on our Pompey coach ,arrived at the 'Sutcliffe' at 3.00pm.

Got to the show early Sat, visited Stuart and Raymond and gave them their badges then dropped the rest of them off at the PB stand. I must admit that it was only the fact that I saw Richard that I realised it was the PB stand.  Only met Sammy & Jumbo wearing badges but it is a very big show and I knew there were other members around but it was hard seeing them when you are busy looking at the stalls.

It's the first time I have been since 1986 and I really enjoyed myself but would have liked to met a few more members for a chat, hopefully next year we can get a bit more organised and sort out a meeting place central to everybody, if the members want it and Wiley agrees to produce a badge for 2008 we'll make sure that they will be easy to collect.
