lets here from the show men how do i beat Aye ready at the shows tell me your secrets showman remember ive got racers  :P :P :P sory martin

without having seen and handled both birds it is impossible to tell where you are going wrong!

Maybe your feeding or maybe your birds just arn't up to showing.

Over the years...one of the main things I found of great benefit was to ensure there were absolutely no draughts. I would not give my show team access to their aviaries during the show season, and within reason, closed up all major wire fronts on loft. Nothing strips condition like a blast of cold air.

Was it just me.. or did nearly every doo have dark slime green sh** today.. and then to top it off, chuck thrown in every pen..??

A racer that has access to the aviary will often have tighter feathering than a bird closed up.

Never had the problem of loose feathering !!

 

A lot of the tightness of feathering around the neck etc is also in the breeding.

oh i know you have just trying to wind you up i thought ib would have had a wee go aswell ;D ;D ;D but dont put them on the plant pots this year :P

I understand alot of the doos are sh** scared.. that is part of the reason of the droppings.

 

But why do they leave feed in every cage..????

No two days but this was on the first day :-/

 

somebirds will be stressed but this is normaly a sign of poor feeding in preperation.

they always put food in the cages in 2 day shows but not all the pigeons will eat it hence what you see in the pens
