Channel this weekend!

Poor visibility is forecast on the channel  till at least Tuesday. What do others think?

Very surprised no further comments!  I studied the BBC's 5day forecast through several coastal towns, including Cowes in  the I.O.W.  Portsmouth, Weymouth etc.etc. and it don't look good, visibility wise. That's why I asked for opinions. You all must know more than I do then.

Forecast changed a lot of late Vic - Saturday looking good enough now.

Where at cholet got some mixed weather forecasts so far cholet N, NW or NNW but sunny everyone seems to think the channel is going to be S and inland cloudy WSW, SW or SE  :-/ looks like they are all light winds so perhaps it wont make a lot of difference

Looks a real mixed bag windwise, Northerly in France, West in the Channel and Southerly in England according to      www.xcweather.co.uk

Weather looks good though with plenty of sun forecast, lets hope they're  right.

We could do with a day like today mick weather was good channel was good when i went down there this morning just hope it stays like it

I'm almost as far SE in the country as you can get.  We're at Le-Mans  today 226mls.  Wind looks Westerly and visibility is good.  Much better than yesterday when it very hazy.  A good weekend has been forecast.
