sorry to here about your loss it happened to me a few years ago now it was hard to get my head round it i said i was finnished but my wife said no way we will start again so we did and have never looked back keep your chin up you can beat them to i have spare training crates you can have and if you want a couple of young birds then let us know dont let them win can deliver if you want    yours in sport a fellow fancier

Yes a case for the pigeon basic fund definately.....b****y B******s, hope they get their just desserts for this.... It really maddens me to think their are people so cruel to torch birds alive just for the hell of it, and it could've been much worse too with the house being so close.

so sorry to hear of this , especially with the loft so near the house , thank god no one was injured in the house,,,, anything i can do to help , just pm, ,ie birds etc , im quite sure by the sound of this , is def a case for the pigeon basics fund , really sorry this has happened , but allthough being devastating , pull through , keep going , im sure youll get all the help you need from all basics members , i hope the culprits are caught and dealt with

This seems to be happening too often, lofts getting torched, birds getting slaughtered or fanciers being attacked. Kids, thugs and even so called fellow fanciers being the culprits at times. All in the name of fun, harassment and vindication.

Some people whole lifes work down the swaney in a matter of minutes and this time only five miles from my doorstep.

Hello guys/gals, again i cant thank you all enough, you dont know what this means to me. Still waiting on the police to arrive to do further tests on the remains of my loft. To add insult to injury, i,m now being threatened by the mother of the suspect, she is planning to get the heavies in to " get my head kicked in". So it will come as no shock to you all that i am seriously looking to move home. We were in talks to do so, and as i have a wife and 8 month old son to take care of, they are my top priority. Once we move i want to start back up again, soon. I think to be realistic it,ll be next year before i fly again, but who knows. Again thank you all for your continued support.

So sorry to read this. What about the RSPCA, if the police can't do anything? To deliberately burn defenceless birds must be prosecutable. Hope your house insurance will cover you.  Good luck.

The RSPCA, thats a laugh, arson is a criminal offence, unless they can make a high profile prosecution for cruelty etc that they can get beneficial publicity from they are not interested!
