stoolpigeon Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THE WAY NOT FED OR NAT
naedoos Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THE WAY NOT FED OR NAT That's okay you're entitled to your opinion, just as well there are other minded fanciers
Guest bigda Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THE WAY NOT FED OR NAT you might not go back the way, but should the snfc change the rule, and allow members to join, i would put money on it what one would win, in the long term so the snrpc at least know that and have to keep stoom, in-case there is a run on membership 400 members are alright but whats the age group like dodgy, so never say never and hope you do get the choice as only time will tell
maverick Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 maybe a lot in what you say chairman, but i think we should also ask what the early founders would say, when fanciers of long standing the likes of dennis dall, john ellis, peter virtue, jim benvie, john proctor, pete patrick, kerr stainthorpe, stuart mullan, davie elliot, ken buchanan, wilson and jack, and many others too numerous to list, decided to walk away from the snfc. for anyone who is thinking in any way they must ask why? JOHNO Could you tell us how many of the fanciers you named fly in both the nationals
hotrod Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Apart from davie elliot im positive none of the others do .Definately not me anyway
maverick Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 nothing bad meant was just asking as i know a lot of fanciers are now in both
weecunny Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 lets join the rpra and the snfc and keep the rpra commitee 2 run it
maverick Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 lets join the rpra and the snfc and keep the rpra commitee 2 run it AND YOU ARE A SCOTSMAN
maverick Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 You have a voice go to the meeting and air your views there thats the only place things can get sorted not on here.If all the folk on here that had there say spouting off on this and that went to the meeting WE could get all sorted out.
Guest Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 lets join the rpra and the snfc and keep the rpra commitee 2 run it lol another joker(evil)
JADE Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 lets join the rpra and the snfc and keep the rpra commitee 2 run it the rpra cannae run their own affairs never mind the SCOTTISH national
Guest Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 what rules do you think they would need to change if this proposal was passed ie rpra members right to appeal, measurments , etc would it be up to the commitee to change them
ALF Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 what rules do you think they would need to change if this proposal was passed ie rpra members right to appeal, measurments , etc would it be up to the commitee to change them i THINK THAT WOULD HAVE TO BE VOTED ON FRANK BUT I THINK A COMMITEE WOULD HAVE TO DECIDE IT THOUGH
JADE Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 i think for it to work the snfc would have to be independent of any union. i cant see how a club of the stature of the snfc could operate under the rules of two separate unions without there being a conflict in the rules somewhere along the line. but if the will is there i`m sure it can be done.
Guest IB Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 Wondered how SNRPC handled disputes just now? Seems off if Union membership decides which Union the dispute is appealed to? I think there are differences in both Union's rules? Appeal Court is only fair if it is completely autonomous. Committee sounds like its part of the same Organisation. Can't sit in final judgement over something you've ruled on previously.
Guest Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 yes i think ib and jade are correct it might work if it anserewed to its self maybe with the right to appeal to a commitee made up from say 5/7 made up from senior members of other unions not involved, or people of good standing from out side pigeons after all they can only rule on was any rule broken so do they need to be pigeon fanciers at all may be 1 just to give guidance the snrpc has a 5 man apeal comitee with the right to apeal to the rpra but has never been needed
maverick Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 IF you join any club in any walk of life you join and abide by there rules you dont get to change the rules before you join
Guest Posted November 2, 2008 Report Posted November 2, 2008 dont disagree maverick but what about the apeal system if this goes through it would need to change and the snfc may have to affiliate to the various unions to allow they members that right
