andrecrock Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 great gesture,,,,,,,Bob Nichols of Norfolk andrecrock Lenwadebob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(ok)(ok)(ok)(ok)
pjc Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 fantastic gesture Stewart, I think Richard could just make a poll from the regular members on here most day/evenings as they are the main contributors. There is one thread that realy sticks in my mind over the last 12 months, not only through the help and advice given and the enthusiasm that the poster (David) has but it realy, in the whole summed up what the forum should be about and that is "pigeon in my Kitchen"! Phil
Roland Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Have to go along with the general consensus... great offer.
nogin Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I NOMINATE HOMER 49 ......WHEN HE'S NOT ON THE SITE IS DEAD.
Ronnie Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Bloody ell thats a hard one so many have given me help on here. I would narrow it down to three Old yellow ,Roland and last but not least Vic. This is no way a slight on anyone else like i have said ive had so much help of so many people.overall Old yellow gets my Nom.
blaz Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 my vote goes to old yellow who has helped me alot any time i ask i get a good reply like the time i told him he was a star for helping me he said yes old and fading away
Wiley Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 What a great gesture by Stuart and Raymond and my hat goes off to the pair of you, Personally my own nomination would have to be Jimmy White
Silverdale Lofts Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 You could pick loads of people but the one person who gets my vote is Ally Mac who has helped young Phoebe great gesture Stuart
Fair Play Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Nice to see there are still some good guys about - well done to you both
DOVEScot Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Maybe it could be the PB X Factor, the members that have used the site in the last 12 months put up and a nominations from put forward then a short list after a poll vote then a final of the top five members.

Guest joshdonlan Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I can narrow it down to OldYellow and Jimmy White for the help theyve given me. IB for his imformative posts and Ally Mac for the work hes done for Phoebe. There are others, but writing a list would be pointless.
swilcox Posted December 9, 2008 Author Report Posted December 9, 2008 For me i would like to see Roland Sapper Fifer Dovescot Jimmy White IB Ally Mac Rose To start with and there are others that are always there. Its going to be a hard top 10 :-/
DOVEScot Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 162 members at one time have been logged on but that wouldnt be a true reflection of how many actualy use the site 4000 members is just pie in the sky figures it is full of dual accounts, members that have joined and never posted Since the site opened around August 2005 out of 4204 potential members 2240 have joined and never posted 2640 have posted once or less 2760 have posted twice or less 3040 have posted five times or less 3080 have posted 9 times or less never making it out the egg 3480 have posted 24 times or less 3840 have made not made it past the hatchling stage of 100 posts 4000 have made not made it past the squeaker stage of 250 posts Only 84 have made it to the old bird stage of 250-499 posts Only 124 have made it to the veteran stage on more than 500 posts

DOVEScot Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 good statistics im sure a short list can be drawn up after names have been put forward Surely there should be a poll vote on all nominated by site members or them that have a certain number of nominations would be a fair way as well to get a short list, eg. 1st round anyone who is nominate 2nd round anyone that has more than five nominations be put forward to the final :-/ Final top ten from the poll to be voted on by members :-/
Tony C Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 When Richard set up this website he must have had a vision in mind where he wanted it to go. I feel he would be the only one to be able to judge which member has contributed the most towards that. I would think it apt if Richard chose.

Members may want pick him as Mealbar or webmaster on the site, I don't think he would want the task anyway :-/
retired Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 I think its a tough one overall but im going to go with Ally Mac - The money he has raised in the name of this site is exceptional for Phoebe and also has raised the awareness in the site as being a leader in the help for good causes.
DOVEScot Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 2005 is when we had to re register These statistics are from when you all reregistered in August 2005 :-/
Tony C Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 Members may want pick him as Mealbar or webmaster on the site, I don't think he would want the task anyway :-/ As you stated in an earlier post re dual members, a poll would be flawed if one person has the ability to vote twice.
ChrisMaidment08 Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 ;D ;D ;Di nominate asha ;D ;D :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( really
