frank-123 Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 yes frank i was very surprised to see you write that but it is very strong words all shu join and disband it now thats not the words of some one that is neutral is it was just trying to wind harry up a bit of a joke he never took the bait as for neutral i personally don't like sitting on the fence i have no time for the shu as they have caused a great deal of trouble in the scottish doo game also i have no time for people who got up left a meeting because the vote never went there way you know frank i am pretty new to the pigeon game but i know something having both nationals to satisfy some members in both organizations ego's is beyond belief that good honest men and women would allow it to happen the snfc was the envy of the uk up until the split now both the snrpc/snfc are a joke they cant sit down and sort it out
Guest Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 fair doo,s frank but we both know threads like this wont go any where it will turn into the usual rabble no harm meant jock 3 we have been here before i think we should just wait for the respective agm,s and look at it again
alec guinness Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 yes no doubt we will continue with snfc & snrpc, twice the costs, double the manpower and also the great loss of uniqueness that has been derived from over 100 years of scottish national racing, with over 80 section winners between both organisations a once prized "section winner" is now commonplace, this divide has been driven by a very small group of fanciers with no thought for the majority, unfortunately this will continue with this group of fanciers having no thoughts of a solution. :)saddened scottish distance racer.
dkj Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 I think that the members of both nationals should go to their own AGM's, put a proposal to their commitee and hope the two commitees can get it sorted out, instead of everybody sniping at each other.
Novice Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 I think that the members of both nationals should go to their own AGM's, put a proposal to their commitee and hope the two commitees can get it sorted out, instead of everybody sniping at each other. This is probably the best suggestion I have heard on any of these threads for some time. At least a vote taken would find "the mind of the meeting" There are reasons why we should unite but there are also reasons why it will not happen at this point in time. Possibly some years down the line it may. I think the members who compete with both organisations like it that way as it gives them more options, more sport, more chances to win a National. Personally I struggle to compete in one organisation.
