No, but some Elgin lads did last year, they said it was okay, but not the Ritz!!

We were in Melvile Hotel, just a couple of doors down last year, we had to lie down in bath to take a shower as it was one of thos plastic thing you plug into the tap ;D

We had a lad from ELGIN flying in our club some years ago he moved back there Brian Hadan is his name.

It would be nice if he was there this year.

Yep, Brian Hadden, have met him before, not sure if he is going to Blackpool or not, he wasn't with the Elgin boys that were on our bus last year.

Last year we stayed in a boarding house, good god it should have been boarded up. Its stated in the brochure approx 15 minutes from the Winter Gardens they must have meant by phone. Talkabout a tight squeeze there was six of us in a four poster bed, there was no bleedin curtains just cardboard over the windows, holiday weekend? what a joke more like being in the blitz. On the menu it stated guests requiring mushrooms pick your own off the back of the bog door, the food was lukewarm not to mention the smile on the landlady's face she'd left fag ash in the porridge, lumpy I tell you what McAlpines would have loved some of that to reinforce the sea wall defences. The landlady, well we thought she was a lady till we entered funny girls nightclub later that night and then she became him, then him became she again, rather confusing and in the end we did'nt really care and retorted to calling him /she manwoman. The Bar prices were not to bad really, but it was on the second night we got a grip of what you got for the 3 for 2 offer when we caught the waiter pinching our drinks. Whilst we'd been out and about so had the landlord knicking our towels and loo paper, and the asked us to pay for extra's? we never had any extra's in fact to think about it we never got anything on our plates, we complained they told us it was french cuisine fish n chips, we ended up down under the pier with a jacket potatoe well I thought that's what he said his name was and we all took turns to swig his bottle of australian white, which kept our eyes well glazed and our minds from intense shock of the Dodgy Digs we found ourselves in. The weekend came and went so if your down the north pier this year and see 6 blokes huddled under a cardboard box, give us a cheer because it will most probably be your mates from on here!
