Guest strapper Posted January 18, 2009 Report Posted January 18, 2009 have any of the scottish flyers ever tried flying welsh birds and how did they do. patty bhoy a pigeon is a pigeon m8 no matter where it lives, its up to the fancier to do what he/she wants with it. a welsh bird is no better or worst than a scottish/irish/english one.......paul

Novice Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 I had pigeons from Wilf Reed some years ago. The did score but less well than I expected. However I may not have done then justice due to my work pattern at the time
robbiedoo. Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 i had a welsh doo that was 1st club180mile race as youngster then 1st club 295 mile as a yearling cracking . im swapping 6 youngsters with the same welshman this year
hotrod Posted January 19, 2009 Report Posted January 19, 2009 i dot think it matters where the birds come from ,if they are good birds ,but you can give a numpty the best birds in the world and he,ll never win with them and thats a fact (if they only listened and learned they would drop the numpty status) ;)
