have any of the scottish flyers ever tried flying welsh birds and how did they do.

 

 

patty bhoy a pigeon is a pigeon m8 no matter where it lives, its up to the fancier to do what he/she wants with it.

a welsh bird is no better or worst than a scottish/irish/english one.......paul

i have  wilf reed cock at stock bred some very good birds for me and others including frankdooman,sorry frank the secret,s oot,lol

was the great Taffy Bowens ( hope ive spelt that right ) birds not raced up here with great sucsess and is it not wilf ried that alys racing hotrod?

a couple of years ago dai davies from neath in south wales had a clearence sale,one of the main pigeons in the sale was a blue hen that had scored 117th+46th national pau and 16th national dax. a guy called jamieson from scotland bought her for £1,400. i wonder how her children are doing?

I had pigeons from Wilf Reed some years ago.

The did score but less well than I expected. However I may not have done then justice due to my work pattern at the time

i had a welsh doo that was 1st club180mile race as youngster then 1st club 295 mile as a yearling cracking . im swapping 6 youngsters with the same welshman this year

i dot think it matters where the birds come from ,if they are good birds ,but you can give a numpty the best birds in the world and he,ll never win with them and thats a fact (if they only listened and learned they would drop the numpty status) ;) ;) ;)

i have bought quite a few welsh doo.s ie= benard clarks 4x main birds ie= the little nat cock 6x nat winner 8th.12th.15th.39th.41st.65th nat and i bought him at 3 years old. also nuff said. which was 1st nat bergerac win t by 30 ypm only 4 birds on the day.  also the san sebastian hen which was 4th open 586 mls also 17th open nat dax 566 mls. also the number one stock cock. scarface breeder of the little nat cock. and there breeding winners already. also that dai davies hen i bought her also . 1st class pigeons

i do ok with the welsh birds ...lol  lol lol lol

 

ive had some good scottish birds too...if my memory serves me right i had a bird off an eddie clark...anyone know of him?

 

also had a small bricoix hen..she scored out of bonn for me 3-times in 5 years...always home on the day and a reliable bird..she came in as a stray and transffered....one of the best hens ive owned.
