I would to say that out of all the auctioneers that i have heard over the years Stuart will have to be up there with the best of them.

too true fools. No wonder Ian's loaded. Good pigeons but not worth those silly prices. He was making a big song and dance in his advert about being in the top 20 of the YB national wonder how much those two went for I've got one that was 26th amal out of the sane race and I'm as far over as he is.

Give me £500 lol or a £1000 but no mine aren't trendy Jos Thrones. Just good all fashioned heinz pigeons

dad went to the gibb & byrne sale last night and said they were going for alot with quite a few going to holland via phone bids

I was at this sale, and one bird Lot 8 had a commision bid from Holland by phone on the night of £500 and was sold to a bidder in the hall for £520 and was the highest bird sold. I'm not quite sure of the Auctioneers meaning of his words. "This one is going home" but a number of birds sold had this 'tag' on them. The average price of these birds was about the £200 mark, and the lowest bird sold went for £50.
