You can fly with the Stockton Fed in the Great Yorkshire Amal and you can fly in the Darlington Fed in the Durham Combine where i live but i believe that Lanarshire Fed has a rule which says that you are not allowed to be a member of another Fed.

didnt think you could fly in both just had an argument with some one how thinks they can do it this year

The only exception to the rule is, if you had held duel membership of two feds before 1986 or 87 sometime around that date.

it could only happen in pigeon racing , to many stupid rules

it makes you wander why people leave the sport they love .

hes been a member in the south fed for 8 years or so and just joined a club in lanarkshire this year .

Think i know who you are talking about, but as i said he would have had to have held duel membership from around 1986.So he has had it.

think hes had it then ian henderson says theres no way it can be happen unless he gets it in writting from the secretary of the wee fed to say he has resigned from it .before the raceing starts

Any idea why such a rule would be in force, seems strange to me.

Pigeonman i have no idea i left Scotland in 1985 i was a member of Lanarkshire Fed when i left but i can remember that there was a rule regarding dual memberships of Feds.I know that some members in the East section would have ben in the radius of the Midland Fed and some in the West section would have been in the radius of the Glasgow Fed.If you  read a lot of the posts by the Scottish lads there is a lot of politics involved in the game.

you would think if you cant fly in the both fed you shouldnt be able 2 join a club in lanarkshire and south lanarkshire unless you resgn out one

Hi

Listen up hotboy/celtic tiger 1

You were accepted into Carluke club which is in Lanarkshire Fed on the understanding that you were resigning from Kirkfieldbank

which is in the South Lanarkshire Fed

When I asked you face to face to write your resignation before our half yearly meeting you REFUSED

Your monies have been returned

Cheers

Would concur with that at the AGM he was asked if he would be resigning from the south and he stated he would be.End of story.
