budgie Posted May 24, 2009 Author Report Posted May 24, 2009 In form Dookit of Jock Lawrie & Son have pulled of the Hat Trick in Newmains Flying Club with 1041 birds they are 1st & 3rd ;- Velocity 1458.475 with a 3 yr old hen bred by Andy Miller. Pigeons were scarce at the start but most of the people i have spoken to have now 90% returns. ;)

tyson Posted May 24, 2009 Report Posted May 24, 2009 we midlothian got hit there last sunday with a lot of pigeons lost and a lot back injured the report we got back was a couple of miles up the road around normanton a person or persons witnessed 4 peregrines attacking the batches they said the birds had no chance and they were scattering in all directions

Some clubs in the Fed have had good returns while others seem to have birds missing. We have heard rumours that the North and East Yorkshire Elgin race had bad returns....
