In form  Dookit of Jock Lawrie & Son have pulled of the Hat Trick in Newmains Flying Club with 1041 birds they are 1st & 3rd ;- Velocity 1458.475 with a 3 yr old hen bred by Andy Miller. Pigeons were scarce at the start but most of the people i have spoken to have now 90% returns. ;)

20 sent 19 back on the day 1 returned 1st thing this morning so happy now all home

the midland fed up at 8.30 first bird  in chapelhall at 12.39 got 25 out of 30 had 17 withen a hour my first one at 12,51

Myself i have 6 to come from 36 sent a club mate has 8 to come from 22 sent and another has 10 to come from 33 sent and another 10 to come from 45 so i think it may be a bit more than 10% to come :-/ : :

To be honest i thought Andy made the right decision yesterday morning re the lib as after checking all the weather sites i would have went around the same time myself but i just think we were unlucky as we must have been hit by percy but hey sh!t happens and lets just remember this is the 1st hard race most of our yearlings have had

so  alan  last  week  a/v fed  pulled  out  of  wakefield  and  libbeb  at  selby  after  being  told  of  5  perries  in  the  vicinity  and  our  controller  does  take  heed.

we midlothian got hit there last sunday with a lot of pigeons lost and a lot back injured the report we got back was a couple of miles up the road around normanton a person or persons witnessed 4 peregrines attacking the batches they said the birds had no chance and they were scattering in all directions

Thankfully we now only have 2 missing from Fraserburgh although one of these has already had a win this season.  Some clubs in the Fed have had good returns while others seem to have birds missing.  We have heard rumours that the North and East Yorkshire Elgin race had bad returns....
