Congratulations To;-

J.Whiteford & Family on winning the Leicester race with their Good Yearling Blue hen  (Wendys Girl)doing a Vel:-1103.75 and also taking 5th,6th &7th from 484 birds well done.Pigeons took  their time in  coming for whatever reason but returns are up to 85% for most members. Good luck to all next week taking part in the Scottish National Flying Club from Eastbourne nearly 400 mils to the Newmains Area.Hope auld Jocks getting better. ;)For those who dont know REDROCKET is part of the above winning team. ;)

well done the whitefords,always used to look for john whiteford at national marking at rennes as i always did well when he put my doos through at airdrie. :) :) :) :) :)

THEY WERE LOCKED OUT WITH BAD WEATHER ABOVE THEM, MIST CLEARED BETWEEN 9.30 AND 10 AM 6 MILES NORTH OF LEICESTER. IMO , THIS IS WHY WE HAVE ANOTHER ERRATIC RACE, BIRDS DIDNT GET A DECENT START.

And that is one of the most important things, getting a good start, which it looks like they never got the way the birds were returning, [ but I am only going by what a few friends told me about their own returns in Lanarkshire ] ;)

got a bird home today at 2-30 the  perigrine had a lump out of his neck how it gor away and

made it back ill never know :o

thanks budgie that was oviously a hard race and im delighted to say returns for us are 19/20 at last count so another top class job from the control team.

cheers hotrod i hope so to mate although the hole family are there with the support i've got to take my hat off to my bro jimmy w as he puts all his time into getting the birds right and he's made a good job of it this year being out of the top ten in club only once and thats our target, even although its extra special to win. ps the bird was chasing him up and down the landing boards for a peanut before it would go into the loft . lol
