budgie Posted June 14, 2009 Report Posted June 14, 2009 Congratulations To;- J.Whiteford & Family on winning the Leicester race with their Good Yearling Blue hen (Wendys Girl)doing a Vel:-1103.75 and also taking 5th,6th &7th from 484 birds well done.Pigeons took their time in coming for whatever reason but returns are up to 85% for most members. Good luck to all next week taking part in the Scottish National Flying Club from Eastbourne nearly 400 mils to the Newmains Area.Hope auld Jocks getting better. ;)For those who dont know REDROCKET is part of the above winning team. REDROCKET Posted June 15, 2009 Report Posted June 15, 2009 cheers hotrod i hope so to mate although the hole family are there with the support i've got to take my hat off to my bro jimmy w as he puts all his time into getting the birds right and he's made a good job of it this year being out of the top ten in club only once and thats our target, even although its extra special to win. ps the bird was chasing him up and down the landing boards for a peanut before it would go into the loft . lol
