jupiter_19630 Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Not the fastest of people at delivering. I usually end up waiting about a week for deliveries. Might improve though as they are sorting out a new warehouse and reckon gonna start despatching 7 days a week.

Sent an E-Mail to complain aint even had the courtesy to reply. What makes it worse is I got a Petron Catalogue at the show on Sun read it when i got home and the same ones are only £1.20 which would have saved me £14.00.

Henrik Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Yes would have thought that Paul. Even now they havent bothered to reply to my E-Mail. Just means I wont be spending any more money with them. Murray&Mills n Leefe will get my custom from now on and my local corn shop Stuart Fraser in Craigmillar can order most things in for me.

matt Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 i ordred stuff on 48hour delivery it took two weeks and its not the first time only once have they delivered on time and that was standard delivery.
Guest Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 I've never had any problems dealing with them
Okitsme Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 I have stopped ordering with them after they basically called me a liar and the manager did not even sound concerned that as a client I was unhappy. They are expensive and unreliable.
Guest shadow Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 used them for years never had any problems
Back garden fancier Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Never had any problems, always on time. Must be luck of the draw.
THE PRIEST Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Well i ordered a 38 inch sputnick over a month ago my payment was taken from the bank within 48 hrs . After 14 days of waiting i phoned them and was told it would take another week. I have now waited two more weeks and phoned again today and was told they are still waiting for parts and it could take another week or two. The guy on the phone did not seem to care one bit about it. So much for the customer comes first it seems to be the cash comes first.I paid a total of £79 and could have got it cheeper from other suppliers but because of boddie & ridewoods reputation i decided to use them. It will be the last order they get off me . michael.
Guest j.bamling Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 i ordered new up and over nestboxes over £1000 after about 1 month i phoned them up and was told it would be about another 2 weeks so i canceled them and phoned Petron Lofts up i had new nestboxes within 4 days and he chucked a load of extras in free !!! i would not deal no more with Boddy & Ridewood
ch pied Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 i had some stuff delivered about 3 year's back , when the postage was £9.50 to n .ireland , sure enough the parcel arrived in 3 day's , by ( ROYAL MAIL ) wot no private courier , so off i went down the post office , with parcel unopened , asked for a price to return parcel , £3.25 , the package had no price lable or stamps affixed , just a franking machine stamp , not rocket science , they made £6.25 out of this mug , the one and last time :)
Guest IB Posted February 15, 2008 Report Posted February 15, 2008 3 things to say:- (1) Over the years, found B&R service generally first class. Agree they are pricey and agree postage costs doesn't help. (2) Just the one really bad experience a couple of years back, no kidding here - ordered myself a book for Christmas 2005, was delivered the following Christmas, 2006. Supplied from Australia, and out of stock, it was advertised every other week in the BHW during Nov, Dec 2005, and throughout 2006. (3) 1st class parcels isn't the same as 1st class mail. Found that out recently when my vaccine failed to arrive next day (from another firm). 1st class parcels is delivery within 7 working days, 1st class mail is next working day.
