What's strange about it?  The North Road have done the same as well, probably done thier homework for Saturday's weather.

midlohian fed 24 hour delay to basketing but that,s not official YET

As it stands at the minute the West Essex Fed are going ahead with basketing Friday for a Saturday race out of Peterborough. It looks as if there's an evens chance we'll get out of there.

This race cancelling days before race is a fekin disease, weather never same as the weather forecasts and changes so quickly . Dont no how many races get called of then the weather is fine on the sat. Birds should go as they used to and holdover if neccecary. if your not at the race point on a sat and it turns out good your not flying.

Happens far to often nowadays. Never had all these crap weather forecasts years ago and managed fine . Pigeon men getting scared of a splash of rain nowadays as far as im concerned ;)

just had alook at the met office f/c for tomorrow,we should get a race from ridsdale, possible lib betwix  ten and eleven am perhaps? scottish borders ,pentland and e.o.s. :-/ :-/ :-/

Think we should get a lib Saturday if not around 9ish reckon it will be 10-30 to 11. Thats the Peterbor District out of Bubwith.

This does seem to be happening a lot over the last couple of years does in our area anyway,up until last year I cannot remember in over 40 years when a race had been cancelled a couple of days before because of the weather forecast,ours as been postponed until Sunday this week,this must be about the 4th time now as I say in the last 2 years.

UNC have put basketing back 24 hours
