Speckled Jim Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Hi All, Looking to get involved in the sport, was wondering are there any good books out there that I can get to start me off in the right direction. Thanks
grizzal Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 welcome to PB and hopeyou enjoy the site look on ebay there are lots of books and DVDs these should help you, also try to go and see some local fanicers near you,ask them any questions Im sure they will help
Guest asha Posted November 23, 2008 Report Posted November 23, 2008 Hi Jim,You from South or North Island?, it`s cold and damp here, wish i was down there with you,and i think you can get so much imformation on the web now,try Pigeon Paradise, then go to the bottom of the page, and you will find australia, and New Zealand, click on those ,they are much closer for you,and expect you will find imformation on fanicers maybe not to far from you,who may take you under their wing, that`s usually the best way to get started, but if that doesn`t work, you will get plenty of advice on these forums(good and bad) :) Best of luck

Ebay is the best place to get books, there are some great dvd's aswell, all the prices are good, and you can ask the seller questions aswell. tell the family what you want this christmas or even show them if its pigeon related..........amanda
