greenlands Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Missed cleaning out for a couple of days (Not me) so got them sorted this morning,just a covering of snow on the ground and no more.Standing in the loft checking them over then the sky went black and I meen black,I thought someone was throwing stones at the loft,hail as big as marbles for about 5 minutes managed to get the loft doors closed , with my hair style could have done with a bump hat and now snowing on top of it.Roll on Summer. What's it like in your area. Lindsay

Guest ROCKYandRAMBO Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 still lots of snow about here but we didnt have much last night thank god . but its -3 at the moment so its not going any where only 4 or 5 inches on the ground my birds not been out for four days not taking any chances they might get caught in the snow carnt wait for the summer lol

Same here in Dunbartonshire.. although on the way back from the allotments i saw the gritters out.. so it could freeze again tonight..
REDROCKET Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 frozen up here in montrose tonightalthough there does'nt seem to be much snow about. had the hens out yesterdaywhen i was down in newmains then the snow came on thought for a minute i would be in trouble but they seemed to enjoy it and the sparrow hawk was doing its rounds in the area aswell.

ToO EASY PICKINGS FOR THE BOP IN THIS WEATHER ;)
