If i ever get a 5yo pigeon with 2/3 channel crossings under its belt i would have ago.But i really do think it would take a bird with such experience to give yourself fighting chance at this race,not one for a inexperienced bird,especially into the Wild West.

thats exactly what i thought but after speaking to dennis anderson and 1 or 2 of the others that sent last year the most of them think its a 2/3 yr olds race and fanciers of that  quality know better  than me

I would think its a 2 or 3 year old exsperianced birds race , think when there to slow for other races Frank there to slow for this to m8

 

Old slow birds are the same at all distances IMO

In saying that maybe fanciers as good as Dennis Anderson has a family off birds cappable at that age.

sory got a bit of bad news for you vincy 4/5 yr olds with water experience are like hes teeth they dont last that long things have changed over the last 10yr and we must change with it JMO yes they have to have been over but once or twice is enough i think

yes i think they were 4/5 yr old but lots of the other birds that made it were 2/3 yr olds

might try a couple of sprinters. seriously think it would need to be the fittest 2/3 y/o to get anywhere near the result , I also think at this distance the east/ west argument will be irrelevent as it will be a game bird anywhere that does this distance

Its hard enought getting 2y/olds fae 560 miles into the west of Scotland nevermind 700 and beyond.I think it might be 720 to me in Lanarkshire.

why not have a go robert the marking station is on your door step and i thought the north boys would love to show you west sprinters the way to go ;) ;)

 

frank i for one would love to try it i was excited with the feeling that les mckay must of had that day and that was me on the computer god knows what like i would be flying in it . frank there is a lot of guys on here do a lot of mouthing and nothing else but i for one would easily go for it even though i have never timed in from across the pond . the only problem we have up here is getting our doos to the marking station but if it got organised i would defenitly send .
