owen101 Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 not sure why? it got a picture of a man in front of his loft on the front cover
showman Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Just wondering. There were quite a few reprinted pigeon books put on the market, and on some of them you 'loose' some pages due to very poor printing.

jimmy white Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 a nice interesting book called " pigeon" by barbara allen, really not on racing pigeons as such, but contains many interesting facts and theories on pigeons in general through the ages.
Guest bakes Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 longdistance racing pigeons by john clements a great read second that got that my self.
jimmy white Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 used to have an old book,," dr barkers book on the pigeon",, lent it out, never to be seen ;D,, but great old book with plenty common sense and pigeon husbandry etc,, even in to-days way of racing, still made great sense
Tony C Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 The old Jules Gallez books. The value in them is that it shows the basics then are as they are now.
