weecunny Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 its the rich gettin richer and the poor leaving the sport happy days was this no the best systum since sliced bread
Guest mr mrs arnold sons Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 it seems to me that the ets systems are ruining the sport saying that i mean the pricing of the rings the life ring being changed to suit them and not asking for a ballett on wether we want them or not so yes lets all have the same advantage on race day and go back to the rubbers in the clock that is my point on the increase in the price of the rings
BLACK W F Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 only as good as what its goin on you got a point there then ;D ;D ;D ;D
chichichi Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 to mr and mrs a we dont want to go back to the good old days -do you -run to a central clock? make our unions force the clock manufactures to open the clocks to any hitag s chip then we can buy bricon or benzing chips ---was told benzings are £1.02p ,the only difference is the first chip codes other than that they are the same pakaged slightly different ,various colours.benzing run an open clock at present.i own a bricon rest of the club apart from one has bought unikon 2 didnt bother they are still clocking with rubbers. I have tried to register bricon rings on a benzing,, but no joy,, you can only assign benzing rings to a benzing clock,, That is the M1 I tried.. The RPRA need to force the ets companys to allow and system ring for assignment,, this will then lower the price.. best of luck ant
Tony C Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Just out of interest how many of these chips/rings do you ETS users have to buy a year to replace losses, damaged ones etc.

The governing bodies would then be in a position to tell the manufacturers how much we are prepared to pay for these rings. I an certain they will cost less than 10 pence to manufacture. As I have said before Gillette don't make money selling razors----they make it from the ongoing sale of blades.
weecunny Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 u wanted the fancy clocks noo u get the fancy prices lol
Williedoo Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Just out of interest how many of these chips/rings do you ETS users have to buy a year to replace losses, damaged ones etc. Buy them for my y/bs every year, usually 35 - 40.

weecunny Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 at 130 each it wont be long till u c the birdage going doon
ovy1255 Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 forget all the debate on rings next step we will be injecting the chip in the pigeons neck and the pads will be placed above the pigeons then we will have to use a common chip that will register with any clock . my mate bought a 198 quid benzing and it recognises bricon chips and when i asked the scottish benzing agent if they were open he asured me they where. BUT WOULD YOU BUY A MOBILE PHONE IF YOU COULDNT USE THE NETWORK OF YOU CHOICE?
Guest bakes Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 be interesting what the mass flyers will be thinking that order 100 or so rings each year be more or less like paying your club/raceing fees again is it just unicon that has up the prices or have bricon, taurus, tipes done the same as well. all the best.
ovy1255 Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Do. you scotish guys and ladies have to write your loft number to the ets rings on assignment
