Here in Malta its a public holiday no one works,we fast all day  and in the evening a lot of people go to watch the procession around  many villages.We,pigeon fanciers,for us is basketing day

We are taking a well earned break and concentrating on getting our own birds trained and fit, ready for the first race next week

Youngsters from roundabout section weaned today - the other half is cleaning out and shutting the boxes up, cleaning the nest bowls etc - the hens were removed a few days ago (but they're still sulking)

well its not so good friday for me as the rule 241 has now been changed may aswell pack in cant afford a new trap i spent £135 on one last year that complied with rule 241 so may aswell bin the 32 young birds and 36 eggs and pack it in .
