Sparrowhawk

[Blue Chequer Pied]

Came across this today whilst out training today. I stopped for a look and spoke to a passer-by who said it was hit by a car.  Tragic story really. Reminds me of a time when I was driving along a road and saw one of these creatures on top of a collared dove by the side of the road. It didn't move a muscle as cars went by really close to it. Very dangerous i thought

oh what a shame poor little sparrowhawk, i wish it was the one that torments me, only lost 2 to it so far this year but i know bad times are just around the corner

Do you really think anybody will care about what happens to your pigeons if you make remarks like these for others to see? I spent what to me was a good deal of money for a kit of birds to start in this sport last fall. I've lost birds to hawks already, thats life. Breed a couple extra.
