Blue Chequer Pied Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Came across this today whilst out training today. I stopped for a look and spoke to a passer-by who said it was hit by a car. Tragic story really. Reminds me of a time when I was driving along a road and saw one of these creatures on top of a collared dove by the side of the road. It didn't move a muscle as cars went by really close to it. Very dangerous i thought Paul.

NW USA Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Do you really think anybody will care about what happens to your pigeons if you make remarks like these for others to see? I spent what to me was a good deal of money for a kit of birds to start in this sport last fall. I've lost birds to hawks already, thats life. Breed a couple extra.

NW USA Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 You won't find animal lovers considering them humorous. They'll consider them as self serving and callous.
