ally mac Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Lost a Yb last night when a peregrine scattered them then tonight a cracking cock bred by Jimmy Bambling got swooped on and flew straight into a neighbours window. Getting a bit fed up I'm afraid.

lanarkshire lad Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Sorry to hear that but if its any consolation its happening to fanciers all over the country.
Delboy Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 Sorry to hear this Ally, hope you use the dead pigeon to sort the problem An eye for an eye m8
ally mac Posted April 8, 2010 Author Report Posted April 8, 2010 Thanks lads. I know I'm probably no worse of than most but its just a bit sickening the now as they seem to be dropping like flies. I thought I was going to have a reasonable team of yearlings and a few 2 year olds to start the season but numbers are dwindling. Its a pity the doo fell in the neighbours garden or I could have probably made use of the carcass.
Guest frank dooman Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 keep them in for the next week ally, the hen/s/h should be down by they unless the cold snap puts them back a bit then start again yes it sickens you but iam afraid thats doo,s for you just now, as delboy says just try and take an eye for an eye
