just ask me Posted April 27, 2009 Report Posted April 27, 2009 what will happen if the birds have to race through rain . if birds dont fly in the rain . will drop like stones just my opinion nope mate like most they will hit rain when training and when they race also when they are young i wil train them in anything widowhood cocks is all about condition and the building up slowly to reach top form and noting puts a bird back a few weeks then cold miserable rain especially this time of year with it being so cold my first three birds last week will be (i hope) up near the top of the fed and they were really wet coming back and they have not been out in the rain in well i cant remember to be honest i just belive its not worth the risk of bringing down the condition that all widowhood cocks need without it u are wasting ure time
