Ages of pigeons left Racing 2010

How many pigeons have you got for racing this season and what are there ages.Checked the ETS rings today and we are left with the following:- 03 bred-1, 04-1,05-1,06-5,07-5,08-24,and 09-24.

from 12 cocks (on widowhood) there will be 1 x 08 , 11 x 09 (5 of which are latebred ) with only 2 tosses under their belt so-far . as a result of moving 2 years back.   andy.

They dont last long if they are raced and that is when the 98% rule kicks in .If you dont get your Yearlings and Two year olds in form yer last.If yer no First yer as well as being last.

Right i done a heid count when i was at the loft there is

Its disappointing at the response to this thread with so many good fanciers unwilling to disclose there numbers.I think it would have given us a better knowledge of the numbers we are loosing and maybe when we decide on retiring our good racers. :(With the ones that have responded you have nothing to fear as it always come oot in the washin.

well after change from routes from south to north and starting again i have 3 x 08 birds late breds from 08 well trained but not raced and 14 x 09 all raced up to 180 miles these are just the cocks as i dont race hens
