Guest Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 well done mr wilcox when was the last time a bird win the gold cup race from the north section first time bart, think its only been won north of the tay 3 times
Blue Tooner Posted July 1, 2008 Report Posted July 1, 2008 It's only the 3rd time any national has been won in the North section. The first time was Walter Masson of Inverallochy nr Fraserburgh in 1976 with "5 O'Clock Rock". the 2nd time was Jim Donaldson with "Donnann" from Sartilly in 1995, but this one tops them all, the Gold Cup. If it happened to me I would need tranquilizers to keep me calm Blue Tooner
