Mr Yorkie
We raced from Berwick to North Yorkshire yesterday and returns are how you would describe as patchy. Some members have got most of their birds home whilst others have half their loft missing. Speeds were alot slower than expected. Can anyone shed any light on what the weather was like enroute and why we've had this type of race? Would be interested to know how the Derbyshire Fed faired? Thanks. Have you any Scottish pigeons in as we lib at Thirsk at 1320. Birds came great for 20mins then nothing, although I got 2 in the dark at 2020 and 2106 last night. Unbelievable!!!!! but true. tomm1e
For those racing from Durham today. At the moment the weather near Bishop Auckland is not good. Overcast and misty. Not a glimmer of sky or sun. Lets hope it improves.
Mr Yorkie
Sorry no Scottish pigeons at our loft. It was good racing conditions down with us so I expect somewhere in between you and me something went wrong. Can anyone in the North East shed any light?
