Yes Alf but there was no chance of anybody getting . But the North sec did quite well in the young bird national last year with a late lib.

 

Lets hope they get the doos up ASAP Jumbo to give us all a just of a day bird mate but it's gonnae be tough for the guys in the north i know that mate

i am looking just now at a 9 1/2  hr race into lanarkshire add 3 hrs  to the north fliers  12 1/2 hr race and take that  at  11 am lib hope they are no thinking the top fliers will pull it out the fire for them ;D ;D ;D ;D :D

Nobody counts now it is the welfare of the birds that count

 

Spot on mate....They are not waiting to suit someone but waiting for best chance for birds. I know north boys are not wanting and I understand how hard it will be for them

well in all fairness to the birds,  and the notherners, they would have to bring the birds back if the  dont go by 12pm

definately true, and who knows , it may suit the northerners , could be a south wind in the morning,, but def agree , the birds welfare is the most important issue

i guess they are expecting a lib this morning or they would have moved north by now due to the forecast for tomorrow. its unfortunate for the north guys but you cant help the weather. they are used to situations like this and i`m sure will accept whatever happens (unlike some)

We'll be ready for them whenever they go up, the convoyers have a difficult job to get conditions to suit everyone and I for one have every confidence in them and respect any decisions they make in regards to liberation times, it's what's best for the birds that counts ;)

It's 423 miles to me here in Peterhead.

a great and genuine   post ,, these guys have it all to do,, but it can be done ,,good luck to the northern lads  :)
