she gone and booked the family holiday 2 days after the first

nfc race (hope there is no hold over ) and where back 4 days before the next race

im sure she does it  to wind me up , on the bright side where going to turkey   ;)

reading some of these i can see why wifes have affairs and leave their husbands, god we should enjoy our family first, pigeons are not the be all and end all... come on put the family first, enjoy the holidays guys

off my holidays miss the first race maybe the second race as well

i grew up going holidays in September when it was Baltic

i remember my dad going to Scarborough on holiday he stayed for 5 days took bird training when he left hamilton and came back with young birds we stayed on with my mother

he took my mother her first holiday abroad where ------MALTA  my mother said he was in every loft in malta

i am afraid my kids come first

We are going on holiday to turkey from 2nd to 19th June, there is no-one like my husband, pigeons first, second,third,fourth,fifth,sixth...............get my drift. I have not had a holiday for five years, so push comes to shove, no holiday for me, no Blackpool for him. and yes pigeon pie. lol

Unfortunatly for me my other passion apart from the birds used to be camping, and the two hobbies together not well suited. I don't think i flew a full season for the best part of 10 years. I used to find the channel races were not affected as much as the inland races. Like someone said above, family comes first.
