Hi all,

Just looking for ideas of an idea of products it would be good to keep for maintenance and medication for my birds incase they are ever needed.

I have Coxoid, Intradine & Garlic powder left other from my cage bird days, do any of these have any uses...

Cheers

Craig

How old are your 'left overs'?

are they within their use by date?

You should only need to treat Cocci Kanker and Worms. No need to treat on a regular bassis, but you may need to treat those three during racing. I use cider vinegar, milton, yogurt and garlic. This keeps 'em ok for the most part, and I've never used an antibiotic yet, and I've had pigeons over 20 years.

yes but i would say anywhere between 75% too100%of lofts are using antibiotics now and id say top wining lofts are between 90% too 100% are using antibiotics  and a new starter will be bringing pigeons from a few different places where they will have different constitutions  and will more than likely come across some from sickness to young bird sickness to respiratory and with him being a new starter will probably make one or two mistakes too so just in case its handy to have a few different kinds of antibiotics in the drawer

I use the same and would never give antibiotics, never needed any in 30 years.
