doesn't it come in oral suspension with dropper built in?  I know you can get that type.  (Liquid)  If not and still in liquid form go to chemist and get one of them droppers or a syringe without needle, and drop it down thier neck.

used this product for at least 15 years mate and i can tell you this will not get rid of canker.it does what it says for yeast and candida, always give this for 3 days after you have treated with antibiotics, i agree with what it says in your link 100% but where does it state that it treats canker?, p.s, get yourself a microscope and find out for youself, i did.

Go and tell the vets and the manufacturers that it doesn't get rid of canker then mate, its made for the purpose of dealing with mold and fungal infections call it what you want, candida is thrush = yeast infection, canker = yeast infection, works for 99% of the populus, but hey you genuinely may have a resistant strain of canker?

p.s I do get my microscope out and now for myself, got one of those chemistry sets for xmas  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

canker / thrico , is not a yeast or fungus , it is a single celled protazoa life form , as is hexmatita & the only med that are sucessfull in treating them are metridonisole , ronidisole & related med's in that family , med's for thrush candida would be of little use , but will be of benifet after the anti-bios

canker, is a term used for many ailment's down the year's , and if realistic thrush can be termed as a canker of sort's , but we in the pigeon world have taken the word canker to mean only 1 thing ( THRICOMONIASIS )

Not being a vet I decided to look more into the subject, turns out that studies show that the meds you comment on are actually supposed NOT to be effective or removed from the market according to this professor???  http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/VM032  You ask many fanciers and they will disagree with this so who's right, the scientist who's done a test on a few plates of cultures or the hundreds of thousands of bird (not only pigeons) fanciers who use the said treatment for canker, Trichomoniasis, single cell protozoa or whatever name you want to give to it, for some reason it works for many, just as for many it doesn't,. wierd world we live in.   :-/

yes the link show's that the mentioned anti -bio's have been removed from the us market as are a few other vetininary med's that we can obtain in europe , the link also hi-lite's copper sulphate & murcuric acid that are of great benifit in the control of thrico , when it has been eleimitinated as is bi-carbinat of soda & iodine . there are some 30-40 strain's of thrico on the go and are becoming more restsitant to the med's now in use , the failure can be laid at the door of fancier's in this respect . of having a good or bad result ( ie ) not changing the type of anti-bio between treatment's , under doseing , not de-clorinating the water if useing med's in powder form .

my own veiw , if you have to treat ,,,,,,,treat long and treat hard
