jimmy white Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 the birds seem to love a hot bath,, i have did this b4, after a race, the hot bath, and condies crystals , i believed soothed and cleaned any un-noticed bruizes or knocks they might have taken at lib, or en-route home
Dodgy Trapper Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 I know of fanciers putting TCP in the bath water, only a small cap full. Keeps feathers clean and surprisingly silky feathers. I used to use it but got feed up with the smell.
cowman Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 i use cider vinagar unless they have had a hard race then use herble radox .
Shortcut Lofts Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I give the birds 3 cap fulls per bath as the first thing they do is take a drink. It is also good for them inside as well as outside.
