A few cap fulls? A bottle? Just a rough esitmate please? What are the benfits of doing this? thanks.

 

Vinegar keeps them clean of lice.

i would say about 2 or 3 cap fulls

yes vinegar is another good one,

i was just going to buy some  powder for the lice if i buy a bottle of vinegar instead will that do the trick

yes,  i like the garlic, cut up some garlic and leave it in a bottle of water for a few days, put this in the bath water, keeps birds clean, i use it all the time,

If they have lice and you want to get rid of them on the hurry-up use the powder then after put vinegar in their bath once a week to keep them free of them.

If i was to make up garlic or vinegar and water and dip all my birds in it will this kill the lice

the birds seem to love a hot bath,, i have did this b4, after a race, the hot bath, and condies crystals , i believed  soothed and cleaned any un-noticed bruizes or knocks they might have taken at lib, or en-route home

re; what YOU put in your birds bathing water

 

I have read garlic , cider vinegar washing liquid even TCP

so come on

honest replies  

what, why and how much of whatever you use

and more important what your hoping to achieve

by using whatever you use

simply cleaning the birds feathers ??

killing lice ??

trying to put a shine on feathers ??

remember before you reply

I put absolutley nowt in the bath water.. clean and fresh water thats it..

yep thats good enough for them,  as i have seen them bath in puddles,  never done them any harm,  as i use one spot so need to worry about  lice

Our birds also bath in clean fresh water only.

I love watching them as they seem so relaxed afterwards
