They are both good birds  :K)  and the competition was fierce during the day..yours was ahead several times so i didnt know what the outcome would be.. all good fun!

 

Can you tell us a bit about your bird?  I'm sure everybody would like to hear, including me.

Well done Kenny. As you say i have had youngsters from this cock the last to seasons and they have both been timed in from our last young bird race from Northallerton which is 200 miles  :) :) :) :) :)

nice pigeon my friend...this year i had a beautiful blue chequer w/f cock in from up your way that defenitely looked like a jan aarden, im sure its ring no. was SU02HI 553?..would have 2 check i think it is still in loft.

Thanks for taking that bird north, its not a Shetland bird but definatley from Orkney, Wick or Thurso. as it's Highland and Islands Fed.. I'll contact them and let the owner know.
