yes ;) which go back to Jack Tournier  :) The koopman birds are Van Loons been crossed with Van Dyck  ;)

The old Tourniers  are an all distance family and most fanciers on the continent sought Tourniers birds to make there familys all rounders  :) i should imagine with the base of Van Loon been Catrysse  and Jansen these should do well at the longer races :)

The Silver Shadow Van Loon have around 25% Tournier in them, they are Based around Silver Shadow, Silverman, Silver Bullet, Silver Star and Silver Boy. Aad Van Berkel bred and raced all of these and in the 90' Silver Shadow, Man and Bullet moved to Eijerkamps. They are super nice pigeons.

They got everywhere! Even the 'super sprinters' of Rene Nauwelaerts have Tournier bloodlines.  :)

The sale went very very well. The birds avaraged £170 plus each and a few Grizzles went for upto £400. The birds really looked the part and its was nice to see both buyer and seller enjoy the event.

I have already managed to book Aad Van Berkel into next years Telford show. Interesting that five x 1st National winners purchased birds including C Lloyd, N Templer, Gary Summers, Crowley & Green etc so in my mind these are going to do some winning now there in the right hands.

But all in all as the auctioneer i really enjoy it and the bunters seemed well happy that is was a fair ran auction.
