I'll be going for the weekend although haven't booked anything yet... think it's going same way as the rest of the doo game, most folk I know aren't going this year unfortunately

If you not booked yet you need to soon,  prices in some places have sky rocketted, what was once around  £30 per night has shot up to £200 that is for a Saturday and the Friday is £50+

Such inflation of prices will kill of the Pigeon weekend. JMO

Staying at the DAISH,S hotel again this year from Wednesday until Sunday, 5days 4 nights half board entertainment each night  £144.00 each.

Travelodge over £250 for Friday and Saturday nights now, gone up another £20 since yesterday

i understand the "illuminations" have been extended to cover the pigeon weekend . that maybe the reason for the "hike" ?
