Does anyone have anything for bumble foot? I have a hen with a swollen foot. It aint the ring as it still turns and is just the foot that's swollen. I took her to vet who charged me £40 but the medicine she gave me hasn't worked. Any other suggestions?

If the problem is bumblefoot then the cause is bacterial and may respond to an antibiotic.

If you Google bumble foot treatment it will come up with a poultice prep with Epsom salts / betadine - but you can buy magnesium sulphate paste over the counter ready made. But do Google bumblefoot or bumble foot as you will get different results, and check out the photographs to make sure it looks similar, it's the pad of the foot, not ankle
