Cliftonlad Posted November 18, 2019 Report Posted November 18, 2019 1971 the year i was born ! Alec You must have just turn 40 ?? Nah Chris just a loon at that time but I thought I saw you working in his butchers shop.
Roland Posted November 18, 2019 Report Posted November 18, 2019 Credit where due, a fantastic pigeon that. A credit to the pigeons, the sport, and owner, and the scots eh! And to think we molley-Coddle (the youngster especially) spouting 200 miles is too far etc. All good pigeons, regardless what distance the owner prefers, have all come down from distance and hard day birds. Great to see the photo dunc50. Thanks
Mossgiel Posted November 18, 2019 Report Posted November 18, 2019 Pick of 1000x doo from back in the golden era This pigeon was on display at the very first show I attended - The Edinburgh International Charity Show next to Waverley Station in 1968. If my memory is correct he was quite a big pigeon.
