hotrod Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 You must ask yourself , when did you last fly doos over two water stretches ——they ask a lot of a young bird so when you look at losses it is relative to conditions and temperature.they aren’t in Scotland but I seem to remember a one loft race in Scotland where remaining competitors at final was smallAs for. Water they might leave birds to settle before water is added—when did we race in them temperaturesDon’t think it’s that warm then ,prob low to mid twenties , we race here every year here in Britain in those temps .and to add u must have something wrong with you if you think it’s ok to let birds settle before they get water . Ps not having a go at the loft . Just replying to comments made

Michael J Burden Posted March 31, 2019 Report Posted March 31, 2019 may be the water distances they have to navigate over and the terrain is a lot to answer for. Hawks appear to be striking the birds when liberated. MJB
